Most restaurants run two systems that never talk to each other. There is the billing software at the counter for dine-in guests, and there is the delivery app on a phone next to it. Orders get typed twice, the kitchen hears about them from two directions, and at the end of the month nobody is sure which sales came from where. **Laayo Biz** is how we close that gap.

## What is Laayo Biz?

Laayo Biz is a point of sale (POS) system for restaurants, cafes and similar businesses, made by Laayo Services Pvt. Ltd. It runs in a web browser at **biz.laayo.com.np** and as the **Laayo Biz POS app** on Android phones and tablets. A restaurant does not need to be on the Laayo delivery app to use it, but it works best when it is.

## Who is Laayo Biz for?

- Restaurants and cafes with tables and dine-in guests.
- Kitchens that want orders to reach the cooks without anyone walking back and forth.
- Owners who want one place for sales, staff and stock, in Nepali dates as well as English ones.

## What can Laayo Biz do?

### The floor and the bill

- **Floor view.** Every table on one screen, grouped by area, showing which are free and which are seated and for how long.
- **Open a table, add as you go.** Waiters open a table, add dishes as guests order, and the running bill saves itself after every change. The web counter and the app share the same bill, so it does not matter which one a waiter picks up.
- **Settle the way guests pay.** Cash, bank QR or a mix of methods on one bill.
- **Takeaway orders** for guests who order at the counter.

### The kitchen

- **Kitchen order tickets.** When a waiter sends an order, a ticket appears for the kitchen.
- **Kitchen display.** A tablet in the kitchen shows new tickets with a sound. Cooks mark a ticket as seen and then as ready, and the counter sees both, so nobody has to shout through the hatch.

### The back office

- **Staff and roles.** Owners, managers, waiters and kitchen staff each see only what they need. Staff can clock in and out, and attendance and timesheets are kept for payroll.
- **Inventory by location.** Stock can be tracked separately for the kitchen, the bar and the store room, with a month-end stock report.
- **Customers.** A customer typed in at the counter is saved by mobile number, so regulars build a history.
- **Reports and insights** on sales, best sellers and payment methods.
- **Activity log.** A record of who changed what and when, for owners who share the system with a team.
- **Nepali calendar.** Dates can be shown in Bikram Sambat.

## How does Laayo Biz connect to Laayo orders?

For restaurants on both, Laayo Biz and the Laayo delivery app are connected, and that is the part that saves the most time:

1. **Laayo orders arrive in the POS.** A delivery order placed on Laayo appears in Laayo Biz automatically, with its items matched to your POS menu, and goes to the kitchen like any other ticket.
2. **The kitchen updates Laayo.** When the cooks mark the ticket as being prepared or ready, the Laayo order is updated too, so the customer and the rider see real progress.
3. **Sold out means sold out everywhere.** When a stocked item runs out in the POS, it is hidden on Laayo, so customers cannot order something the kitchen no longer has.
4. **One view of the money.** Laayo payouts appear in Laayo Biz, with a marketplace report that shows what came from Laayo, what was paid and what is still to come.

The connection is signed and checked on both sides, and each restaurant has its own private link.

## Is my restaurant's data separate from other restaurants?

Yes. Each business on Laayo Biz has its own separate data store. One restaurant's sales, menu, staff and customers are never mixed with another's.

## How do I get Laayo Biz?

Restaurants can ask for Laayo Biz through the Laayo team or the sign-up on biz.laayo.com.np. Once the account is ready, staff sign in with the restaurant's business code, their email and password. Plans and billing are explained when you sign up, and renewals can be paid online.
